Was Anyone Upgraded? From What Category To What?

We were a family of 4.

We were upgraded from assigned cat 11 to cat 8:

Rebooked onboard July 2002 and picked our rooms for Feb 2004, originally booked 2 cat 5's and changed to 3 cat 11's in Aug 2003.

Moved reservation to Costco November 2003.

At the 60 day mark dropped 1 stateroom.

2 days before the cruise Costco called to inform us that both rooms had been upgraded to Cat 8 and were still next to each other. (Did not originally book connecting and did not get upgraded to connecting.)

We were upgraded from a Cat. 6 to a Cat. 4 for our May Eastern cruise. It was our first Disney cruise. We had already gotten our documents, but then when I called to book the REAS package the CM mentioned the cabin number. Since I had selected the cabin I wanted to be in I didn't know what to think...then I found out the new cabin was an upgrade! Woo Hoo!! Of course, we'll always want a Cat 4 now!! LOL!

In Sept 2003 hubby and I were upgraded from a 6 to a 4.

It was great for just the two of us! Had a wonderful time!

I would doubt they would upgrade a SPR, then it wouldn't be too secret anymore.

A SPR is a porthole room with an obstructed view, and are sold as category 10 rooms.

Category 6 to Category 4 for the 9/4/04 cruise.

So far we got upgraded from a 12 to an 11 on deck 5! We don't have our doc's yet so maybe we will get another upgrade???? Who knows???

There are 3 of us sailing in Sept and have been upgraded from a cat 12 gty to a cat 10.

we, too, were able to upgrade from a 10 to a 6 with the FLorida Residents Discount. Only cost us $40!

We were upgraded froma cat 8 to a cat 5 for our 8.28.04 Western cruise. We did not know until we received our cruise docs last week.

This is our first Disney Cruise, after countless trips to WDW, and I am already impressed with them.

This trip is a complete surprise for our daughters, and I can't wait until we tell them, which won't be until we are on the way to the airport, where they will think they are going to, to drop me off for a business trip.

First, three days at the Poly, and then at the Ohana character breakfast on Sat morning, 8/28, we will tell them by having Mickey givethem an invitation to join him on "His Cruise Ship".

Now, if only the trip would get here!
