I was there from the 15th to the 20th, staying at Boardwalk. Why?

Cause i was just wondering if anyone saw two bands marching in Magic Kingdom on the 21st. Or if anyone went to MGM on the 20th. Cause i was in one of those bands that marched down Main St. in Magic Kingdom. :teeth:

Ohh very cool. that must have been exciting. I was in MGM the day before we left (19th) and epcot the 20th before our flight.

Yea it was exciting we showed off our new uniforms it was hottt in those things. but it was disney it was totally worth it. lol I love Epcot so many different things to do when we were in Epcot we did a lil music to Alladin. It was totally cool i loved it. The next time my band goes down to Florida is the year after i graduate. waaaaaaaa! lol i should start to make friends with the freshman next year that might give me a chance to go back. yes!!!!! :rotfl:

I was there May 15th playing with our band in Epcot. Not a school band, since we're all 55 plus and we played on a stage since those marching days are long gone for most of us.

I guess people are used to seeing school bands on this stage, though. My wife was in the crowd and said there were a lot of people surpised to see a bunch of "old people" playing. We have a 100 piece concert band with a lot of retired music teachers and professionals. Hey, it keeps us old folks off the streets and out of trouble... well, off the streets...

there were several bands there when we were there too :) that was fun. We were there April 25-May 5

lol well this was the first time that i ever heard of an marching band from a high school could march in Magic Kingdom. Everytime i go there was never a high school band there. The weird thing is when my high school went 5 years ago that was the first time i went down to. I remember talkin to some ppl from the band but they were long gone from the band when i came into it. lol So that was cool yet weird at the same time.lol :rotfl:

I wish I'd been there that week and seen you. I'm one of those crazy mothers who cries whenever I see a High School band marching at WDW. DS was in marching band for 4 years (never marched at WDW, though) and I always say "Once a band parent, always a band parent." It's always so exciting to see the bands performing. What's wierd with DS is that last summer, he was working for Disney at DL, in the All American College Band, performing on Main Street every day, and yet when I saw him once, I didn't get at all misty-eyed. I smile and cry for strangers performing, but not my own son. Wierd! Now, gonna make music your career?
