Was anyone else disappointed....

We had a very good turn-out this year. (80 kids). DH was in his glory!

Yes. I only had 2 kids to show up. Usually we have about 20-30.

We had about the same as usual! I loved seeing all the "mike and sulley" costumes!! They were so cute, so they got extras! LOL

We maybe got 15.

It is disappointing because DH and I love to see all the kids come by dressed up. We buy two huge bags of candy to give out. I had a spooky witch making noise out front, a yummy Trick or Treat Yankee Candle in my "scary" planter, 4 ceramic pumpkins with yummy smelling Chocolate Truffle tarts and Haunted Mansion music in the background.

The few kids that did come, got fistfulls of candy.

We got a lot of comments on our house too, so I wish more people had seen it.

Also I noticed a lot of kids not really dressed up. I mean you don't have to spend hours making a costume or spend tons of money buying one, but at least have something!

I love dandave's suggestion of taking candy while you're walking with the kids 'round the neighborhood -- I think we might do that next year.
