Has anyone done the Warrior Dash? It looks pretty fun (and extreme). I friends and I have registered for it.

Let me know if you have done it or know someone that has. I'm curious to hear how it is.

Thanks!

I just did it last Sunday in Lake Wales. It was a blast. Lots of mud and costumes. The course was challenging but not too extreme or technical. It did get crowded a couple of times at obstacles. I may see about going to the one in Georgia.

Son thinks he wants to do the one in PA. He asked me if anyone in our group knew about it.

We're leaving in the morning to go to the New Orleans Warrior Dash on Saturday. Chet, Miranda and I are entered.

They are a lot of fun and the atmosphere is wild. There are a lot of costumed crazies. Just don't expect to have a fast time unless you start at the front of your wave. Some of the obstacles get backed up - so it becomes more of a social event than a race.

I still may try to add the Georgia race.

Thanks Chester. I think he's in it for the fun and is about convinced he will do this. He has a soccer friend trying to talk him into going.

Enjoy your event.

My family did the Chicago one last year; I'm giving the Dallas one a whirl in about 6 weeks.

All reports are that they're a lot of fun.

Several of my running friends did one last year, and loved it! I'm doing one in July. Should be fun. I'm in it for the medal.
