Warning To All...Massachusetts Snow...

DH & I just spent 45 minutes shoveling our driveway....DISer's, it is that HEAVY WET HEART ATTACK SNOW!!!

Please be aware when you head out to shovel. It is not fun!

Ugh, thanks for the warning. I don't have to shovel, but I do have to drive to Maine in the morning, so I guess I should leave extra early.

We've got that "mix" that will probably be a skating rink in the morning. We've been so lucky so far this year, it had to happen sometime. Yuck!

I just picked up DD at dance and the roads are a mess. It is icing up and I didnt see any plows or sand trucks.

My neurotic town has had plows and salt trucks out since early evening.

Looks like mostly rain here,but has frozen now. Just saw a sander go by. We have been lucky here this winter,I don't think we have had even an inch of snow. Nice but kind of scary. "It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature"

That's because it's all up here. We woke up once again to snow. We really haven't had any big storms this year, but it seems like every other morning or so we wake up to two, three, or four inches of snow. Not enough to close anything down, (heavens, we'd need much more than what we've got now), but just enough to have to shovel the walkway and driveway.

The past few times that it's snowed, I've just said the heck with it, and not bothered to shovel.

This is what it looked like this morning. I took these from inside. You can't tell it from the pictures, but the wind was whipping the snow around, and I wasn't about to actually go outside in my pjs.

Right, what she said LOL I woke up at around 7am this morning and it did look icy out there though! I think it must've rained overnight here, with just a few flakes mixed in. At least the sun is out now and it's all melted

My dad slid up the side walk to the barbers and walked the edge of the street coming home!

Careful if you go out! even though the sun is out you can still see where its icy!!!

It was WICKED icy.

I live on a pretty main st. (Rt 14 for those of you familiar) and our house is on a corner. I saw a FedEx truck take the corner sideways (or slideways as DH likes to say).

It looks really wet now, so I think the sun is melting it.

Sounds like it was nasty this morning earlier.

My driveway and yard is an ice rink! I cannot even let the horses out because their paddock is so icy! I could barely walk out there and knowing how crazy they get sometimes, Im afraid that one of them with slip and break a leg! Even the chickens are slipping around like they have ice skates on!
