There was an item it today's San Jose Mercury News about a scam to acquire personal information by misleading someone to believe that they have won a Disney vacation. It is the second letter in the "Action Line" column found here:

There is some one here on the DIS who got a notification, supposedly from McDonalds, that they were potential winners of a WDW trip. I hope they didn't get caught by this scam.
