WARNING!!! October crowd levels at WDW will be....

BAD!!!

Why? because we are going to WDW Oct 14 to Oct 23.

It seems whenever we go to WDW the crowd levels turn out to be higher than normal. We started the cycle in early June. At first we didn't realize it was us. We just thought it was always crowded in June. Then we decided to try the lighter crowd levels of the winter. Since then we have gone in Jan, Feb, and March....guess what? Crowd levels were all higher than usual, each and every time. So last fall I happened to be in Orlando for one day in October. so I spent one day at WDW and guess what - CROWDED!! And that was not at Epcot but at Magic Kingdom on a Tuesday....So it is not WDW it is US!! We bring the crowds....

So a word of warning we are coming, so it will be crowded in October. Sorry.

Not sure where you're getting your information from but I only see 4's 5's an 6's for your week - that is very low crowds.

I am sure you are not the only one who feels that way. I know that when we did the MVMCP last year, when TourGuide Mike said it would not be crowded, on a Tuesday, they were sold out!

But thanks for the warning! We will avoid that week.

On the flip side, the good news is that if you keep going back, maybe Disney won't feel the need to keep raising prices because attendance isn't falling off!

This is so funny! I know I feel that way too when I go sometimes! You have obviously been given the Disney Crowd Curse!

Sorry, purely empirical evidence....based on past experience. I go, crowds follow. Even when I followed Tour Guide Mike - it didn't work for me.....maybe this trip will break my streak!!!

Have you considered perhaps leaving on the morning of the 22nd instead of the 23rd? Maybe flights will be cheaper then! And maybe that will mean that if you leave, crowds will be low from the 22nd - 25th while we're there.

Sorry, I got our flights for $49 a piece.....they have gone up now...guess the crowds won't leave till the 23th....Maybe they are on the same flight!!!

Thanks for the heads-up warning! It's a good thing we'll be there and gone by the time you arrive. It'd be just awful to have that crowd curse thing fall on us, given it's going to be our first visit to the World and all...

anyhow, maybe this will finally be a time when you won't have a terribly crowded trip. Like karma or something---maybe you've used all your "crowded" one's up???
