Warning: First World Problem!

Hi All,
Warning: this is a problem and I realize it. I am just a little irritated and want to see if there is something else I can do to try and resolve it.

We leave in one week for our trip and we still haven’t received our magic bands. Now, these are not our resort magic bands, but the magic band order for renewing our APs.

I wouldn’t care so much since we still have a pile of bands at home we can bring, but I paid $64 for this order (custom bands) and the confirmation email I received after I placed my order said it was estimated we would receive them 10 business days before our vacation. I ordered them on 11/25. Tomorrow is the 10th day, and I called Disney
because I never received an email they shipped.

Disney said nope, haven’t shipped, order is still being processed, and I can’t tell if you will get them in time. They also said they can’t have them sent to the resort for pick-up. So, I said ok. I asked if I could just have my money back then. (Even though we have APs for this trip coming up, it’s a 20 day trip, so it will be the only trip we use the APs for since we live in CA) I was told no, I can’t get a refund.

The kicker is my husband placed his order a day after mine on his account and he got his early last week. (He ordered the SkyLiner custom band) I am not sure what the hold up on my order is.

This is not the end of the world and maybe I am not aware of some Disney reason of why they haven’t shipped yet, but I am just a little irritated.

I did email the Passholder Dept. Hopefully they will get back to me.

Weird thing I've seen people with custom orders have been getting them over 6 months before trip. I'm guessing there worried about custom ones being sold out which I'm guessing is happening here. I bet one is out of stock and instead of sending others out first there waiting for all of them
 

Hopefully they actually send you yours. We got grey bands even though I paid. They had taken the charge away without telling me when I saw two grey bands in a box instead of the new Cinderella castle one I had bought
