Nothing is more easier than to denounce something you've not investigated; nothing is more difficult than to understand the truth.

I was just leaving a post to inform you about the truth. However, it seems like you don't want to hear it.

No wander the whole world is against ignorant Americans.

So, did you...or your friend...walk off with a bag of goodies downtown by any chance... :rotfl: ?

BTW...I thought you were never returning?

Those who live in a glass house really should be careful when they throw stones.

Nothing is more easier than to post unsubstantiated lies with no proof and then feign indignation when challenged; nothing is more difficult than to proove something that is completely untrue.

You were just leaving a post that is completely untrue and offered absolutely no evidence to back it up whatsoever. So yeah, we don't want to hear unproovable lies.

The whole world is not against ignorant Americans. Maybe you are. Go away and stop bothering us - we're having a really good conversation about pie here.

Besides pie, I also love a good cheesecake, French style (the creamy kind). Plain is good, but so is cheesecake with a little strawberry pie filling drizzled on top, or a little chocolate syrup. Yum!

The truth shall set you free man. . .you don't need proof because Jack said you cant handle the truth . . .and the proof is in the pudding. . .that's where they put it man. . .in the pudding. . .you talk about pie. . .you don't know pie. . .I'm talking about PI man. . .and numbers that are crunchy. . . crispy. . .and then rejected. . .you want bacon man. . .bacon isn't the start. . .because you still won't smell the sounds around you. . .I have been to the mountain. . .to all the mountains. . .and I shouted from the summit of Space mountain. . .and heard myself again on splash mountain. . .but still they came. . .they came. . .oh man. . .they CAME man. . .and I was left in the blue tuxedo of a funny bird. . .but then I listened. . .and they were like. . .and they were like. . .and they were like. . .man you don't know. . .because the smells were just heady vapors. . .and you take them in. . .and they leave you again. . .twisting and eating a pretzel.

Sheppard's Pie is good too, but it's not a dessert.

You know, speaking of cheesecake, I have a fairly new recipe for a zebra cheesecake that is truly the bee's knees. It's made with two batters, one flavored with white chocolate and one with dark chocolate, and then poured alternatively into the pan so it ends up looking like a big, luscious bullseye. I'm pretty well staying cleanly on my diet right now so that I can eat as much zebra cheesecake as possible after Thanksgiving dinner.

Mmmm, zebra cheesecake.

I'll also be making a pumpkin swirl cheesecake for Thanksgiving dessert. Hopefully, I can use it to distract the others so they don't notice I've put the zebra cheesecake at my place with one fork, until there's nothing left but some creamy, chocolatey crumbs in the dish. pirate:

Say, wasn't there some rum upthread? Got enough to share? pirate:

Thanks! My son is supposed to correct sentences for his reading class and you've provided some great ones!

You could try using standard English.....

It is easy to denounce something you haven't investigated. It is difficult to underand the truth.

I was just posting to inform you about the truth. However, it seems like you don't want to hear it.

No wonder the whole world is against ignorant Americans.

Well - I fixed the grammar - the stupidity is too much to tackle....

16 pages and nobody mentions sweet potato pie???

Buddy --Yeah,yeah,yeah, and jails and prisons are full of INNOCENT people.
Go away before the spelling bee police get you :lmao:
Now, more about pie - how about a nice strawberry pie?
:teeth:

I have a great recipe for a pie that is Weight Watcher's approved.

One premade pie crust (graham or chocolate)

One tub of fat-free sour cream

Two packets of chocolate or vanilla sugar free Jello pudding mix.

Mix the pudding powder with the sour cream and dump into pie crust. Let stand in fridge to chill. Garnish with a dollop of fat-free cool whip. My mom makes it all the time. To jazz it up you can add a drop or two of raspberry oil (avaiulable in the baking aisle).

My favorite pie is chocolate chip. Basically it's pecan pie with chocolate chips substituted for the nuts. DEFINITELY not weight watcher's approved, but oh so deadly!!

Just a friendly warning to anyone going to Disneyworld in Orlando.

Disney employees are notorious along with Orange County Sheriff's Officers for falsely arresting and prosecuting people on their premesis. Disney and OCSD have an understanding, that boils down to a racket. Disney officials will point out to OCSD Officers, anyone who they deem a criminal, who will then be falsely arrested and prosecuted. Since the park is full of tourists from out of town, very few, if any are able to contest or fight their charges, and so they either (a) forfeit their bail, or (b) end up paying hefty fines to close the case. It is rare for a tourist to return to fight a costly legal battle and win. And any attempt is usually futile, coming up against false testimonies given by Disney Security and OCSD officers (supposedly under oath.) Further, Disney is notorious to withold video surveillance tapes that prove innocence, as this racket generates good money for OCSD and it allows Disney to have a mutually beneficial arrangement with the local police department (who perform private details for them.)

This is not nonsense, a little research will show you that there are many such cases that show this corrupt practice is going on. In many cases, children have also been detained in similar sitiuations. Why risk the freedoms of your children & family, by going to a fake, corporate, generic place like disney. On close inspection, you will find that there are more shops and stores on site, than anything else. Sounds more like a mall, than a theme park.

Disney is a pretty poor, unimaginative choice for smart vacationers.

Thank you for the warning. I am glad you told me so that I could protect my daughters from the predatory Disney KGB. Do you have any other organizations I should avoid such as the Red Cross or the Peace Corps??

The zebra cheesecake does sound awfully good. i just finished lunch and am craving a little something sweet.
