Warning Big Glitch!

I lost the ablitly to log in one of my main peeps last week and I beleive I found out why...

If you go to... https://secure.disney.go.com/disney...myVacation/myProfile/index?name=MyProfilePage to check a birthdate or whatever... you come to this page below...

You will notice the password dots are 6. Also something I noticed when investagating this is the following located right below the log in box...

Ok so you log in and see this screen...

This peep was made first on VMK. So only the information you enter there is in your profile. This only includes first name and date of birth.

Sooooooo you want to add in some information... Click update and you come to this next screen...

Self explainatory I think... I didnt notice. I got the peeps birthday into and I guess scrolled down to see what other options I wanted or didnt want and hit save.

Ok no problem I will hit Forgot password!...

Oh yeah... fun fun fun

Moral..

Log in, put a last name on everyone, make note of it, and also before hitting save, change the password back to the orgianl.

This was a big hit. A peep I made way way back one of the first 5 of the foot clan.

Monday I will be making some calls... but I am not hopeful.

that STINKS, wait, so your saying it was sort of a scam thing, a fake username and password thing or.. someone elses information got on your, account information and you saved it, so you have to call and ask them to change it or tell you the password? i cant really explain it.. but that kind of happened to me on another game... No I went into MY account to get my birthdate that I had used for this account. I decided to see what other options were under 'change MY profile" and the next screen came up with MY info but MY password was altered by THEIR program. I didnt notice. scrolled down, changed some settings, and hit save. NOT realizing the GLITCh in THEIR system had changed MY password from one screen to the next. ADDED to that, if you make a peep with a new email and such they dont ask you your last name. Something you NEED to have entered in, incase you ever forget your password (or have it changed like mine)

I just logged into disneyland.com, clicked Update, and my password gree like yours. Luckily I didn't click Save like you did.

Why don't you make some calls today? I wouldn't wait until tomorrow.

I never got mine figured out, but then again I didnt feel like dealing with everything in order to figure it out. I am heart broken I lost all my costumes, but I guess not enough to deal with the hassle of getting them back

Hey I'm not sure I understand the situation here, but it sounds like you accidentally changed your password to something you don't know? Is that right or did this situation go over my head? lol

If this is the situation, did you try typing in your original p/w twice?
