To be honest. The reason why it probably took so long was she had to go through a few days of transactions to find yours. That's how we did it when I worked at Skechers and someone would come in a few days later demanding something like this.

Do you know how many transactions she probably had to go through to find yours? Chill out a bit! TDS CM's are only human! They make mistakes too. I'm sorry it happened to you, but geesh, give them a break for a second....even you make mistakes!

Excuse me? I should chill out when a CM made a big mistake and I'm now out $2036 instead of $1018 for over a week now (the credit still hasn't shown up yet)? Please!

This is my CHECKING account not a credit card. Sorry but their mistake could have caused major problems if I listened to the CM when she said she voided it out and I should have no problem using my debit card! But luckily I knew that she probably charged my debit card the first time. I'd have bounced checks and my account would be a big mess! I'm also very lucky that I can live without that $1018 for over a week while many people can't.

You don't what you are talking about. When she left me for well over a half an hour, she already found it on the computer and had a print out!!...she just wasn't sure if she could give that particular copy to me. When she came back she said that she would cut my portion off this 8 x 11 paper (so I wouldn't see other transactions).

Yes, I do certainly make mistakes; we all do, but sometimes, people have every right to be angry. This was a pretty big one IMHO. This is something The Disney Store needs to fix because from what I've been reading it's happened to several other customers buying passes at the Disney Store.

Plus I think I was very calm and polite with her for the most part...but telling my story here I can let loose and vent can't I? Like I said in one of my posts, I normally go with the flow and don't complain ever. So this is a rare thing.

I don't want you're "sorry it happened to me" crap as you don't really mean it.

While making my air reservations for this trip I ran into a similar situation. The TA, and I use that term in the most loosely way possible, put thru 3 tickets on my credit card. THen she says.."Oh darn. THose should have been electronic tickets. We'll cancel them out and do it right." Yah, sure. She put it thru again. Same thing happens. Well, the third time she got it right...however, my cc won't accept it. SHe is very perplexed. I call the CC company while sitting at her desk. It seems that none of the voids she had done had gone thru. Now, I have 6 tickets, none of them correct and can't get the correct ones because now I'm over my limit!! The CC co. tries to help, and the TA says based on what the CC people told her, she will put the tickets thru the next day. Well, I call her at 4:45...she had forgotten to call!!!! SHe tries it, it doesn't work...again. Next day, she tries it, no way Jose!! It is now, again, late in the day and I call my CC company myself. They got the TA's phone number from me and set up a conf. call. Then the customer service person literally walked the TA thru what she should have done 2 days before. It seemed she was using the wrong numbers (confirmation numbers!!) Well, 4 days later, I have the correct tickets, the customer service person cancelled the other two charges herself. And people wonder why I won't use a TA again! Well, at least that one. Yes, people make mistakes...but at least own up to them and fix them. The TA actually did delete her paltry commission from out total, saving me about $50. That was nice of her.

Using a debit card ANYWHERE is risky!! I used mine for my health club membership. Signed a contract for a yr. I ended up moving 3 months before the year was up. They told me to mail them a bank statement, utility bill, lease etc, proving I had moved. This was in Dec. Come March I can't figure out why my account at my old bank is not closed yet. Turns out they kept charging me even though I had sent everything in and they had acknowledged it would be cancelled (in Dec.) Long story short after getting in touch with them and the fraud department at my bank I find out they have HUNDREDS of claims against this one health club, plus hundreds more at other gyms in the area. So my bank advised me to never sign a pre approved withdrawel thing again, since they can still withdraw even after I tell them not to. So it's not just Disney.

ITA with you, and from now on I will only use my debit card at the grocery store!

I will now charge all other stuff (Internet, big stuff, mall stuff, airfare etc...) with a regular CC and then pay the CC with the money in my checking account instead of taking this risk again. It's not worth the risk and aggrevation and by using my CC instead, I will earn even more CC rewards.

I was just trying to be good and not use my charge card!!!

Thats what I have learned to do now too! My cc co. normally gets 4 payments from me a month....one per week. I was in some credit card debt and vowed to never use mine again....but sometimes I just need it, like you said internet stuff, airfare etc! That's ok though, I have MilesOne and right now we have two free tickets, hoping to work up the 3rd and the fourth for our trip to Disney at Christmas! With tickets running around $400 for that time....$1600 in free tickets is a good trade off!
