Warning about MDE app update

I updated the MDE app on my iPad last night. My reservation, which was tied to the account a few weeks ago, no longer shows after the update. It still shows on my iPhone, which does not have the updated app. When I entered the reservation number for my August trip, I received a message that the reservation was already tied to another account and to try again. I entered the number again and got the same message. So there's some sort of glitch. It's not a big deal for me, because I'm not going until August. I have no idea whether it would have screwed up any FP+ reservations made because my date to do that isn't for several months. But if you have a trip coming up soon (or you're at the world right now), I'd hold off on updating that sucker.
 
I updated the app on my iPhone and my reservation for over easter still showed as well as our reservation at chef mickey and my magic band info. It's most likely just a glitch that will work itself out.
 
Updated the Ipad last night and all my room (all five of them), restaurant and FP+ reservations show up.
 
I love the randomness of their glitches. My park passes that I linked are still showing. I tried the reservation number again and it's still giving me an error message (and I checked the number several times to make sure it wasn't an error on my part).
 

I would try signing out of your account for MDE on the app. completely close the app. restart your ipad. re login.

This exact thing happened to me yesterday. Funny thing is my sisters family was still on my account but my family was not. 30 minutes on phone with Disney and they fixed it. I was happy. Until I realized ALL of my fast passes were gone. Had to redo Every. Single. One.
Then to top it off, the earliest FP I could get for TSM on our HS day is 5:50:-(
Not happy anymore.
 
We are going in August as well, and had the updates on both iPad and iPhone and both still show my reservations. :confused3
 
Strange. Gotta love the glitches. :confused:

For me, the app updated fixed a glitch that caused all of my ADRs to show as an hour earlier than scheduled. That's all fixed.

If you haven't already, I'd uninstall and reinstall the app. Shouldn't have to, but...

I updated all my apps last night, but did not pay attention to whether or not that one updated. But everything seems fine on mine...
 
Logging out and back in did the trick. Annoyed I didn't think of that before. FP + worked really well for us our last trip! with one notable exception. I wonder if logging out and back in would have corrected it.
 
It a DB query.

All you info is stored on the disney servers. And the app keeps a record of all the "queries" or questions you ask the DB.

When you refresh the app, that list gets out of sync. A log out and log in will resync everything.

It worked for me this morning. I updated the app on my iPhone and a few things were a bit out of sync. This seems to happen with most of the updates so I have learned to log out and back in again. When I did, it had all fallen back into place
 
I just updated my Android phone and everything is still there for my February trip.

As others have said log out and back in and maybe even force stop it and clear the cache and you should be fine.
