Warm tights for women?

Hi,

I am looking for some pairs of warm tights for myself. I used to have some from LL Bean and they don't seem to make them any more. I've tried buying the ones at Sock Drawer but they are itchy and don't fit well. No luck at Lands' End either. I am hoping for tights that are around $20-25 a pair at most, but if they are well made I know they will last so more is not out of the question. Thanks for any suggestions. (Microfiber is fine; they don't need to be super-thick to be warm.)

Cuddl Duds aren't tights, but are super soft and really warm....

SmartWool does tights - but they're $40!!! I've been drooling over them for years...if they wear anything like their socks, though, they will last FOREVER!!!

Thanks - I did see SmartWool. So they are comfortable/not itchy? Do they ever have sales? I MAY be willing to try a pair if they are all that. LOL.

Try the Vermont Country Store website. Just got an email they are having sales. Large selection of tights in cotton and wool, have order from them before and always very pleased.

They seem to carry items that are always hard to find.
