Thursday 24th August
Our last day
After packing and checking out, we caught the bus to the parks and placed our cases in Guest Storage. We popped into Salon Mickey for refreshment then headed over to the Studios to do Art of Disney Animation where we had a good laugh trying to draw Mickey.
The weather suited our mood today and it rained more today than it didnt.
We went to Toad Hall for lunch. The fish and chips we had there were delicious.
We tried to do everything today we hadnt done so far this trip ~ we managed Alices Labyrinth but unfortunately the Storybook ride was closed ~ still, never mind, thats something to do next time! Alices Labyrinth took ages to go round because the ground was so slippery but it was good fun.
I took a couple of last photos of the Castle ~ amazing how blue the sky was for a short while ~ then it was time to say goodbye to Disneyland Park for this trip and we went to the Village to do our last minute shopping.
Unfortunately it started to rain heavily again so we decided to get our cases and head off to the station early. Very soon we were comfortably in our seats and on our way home. After arriving at Waterloo we caught the next train back to Bournemouth and were tucked up in bed before midnight.
Summary
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I had wondered if such a long holiday after two previous trips in the same year to DLRP would be overload but it was not. We had a lovely relaxing time with a very pleasant outing to Paris in the middle and cant wait until we can go back again!
