Tuesday 22nd August
We were up early again today and went to the Studios. We enjoyed watching the Good Morning Studios parade.
We did the Studio Tram Tour then watched the Lilo and Stitch show which is very good. We had lunch in Restaurant En Coulisse in Studio 1, we shared a pizza, garlic bread and fries.
We enjoyed watching the afternoon parade but unfortunately Samantha wasn’t feeling well so we went back to our hotel so she could have a sleep.
We had a meal booked at the Blue Lagoon so back in we went and were lucky enough to get a table by the beach ~ however I think you get a good view from wherever you sit in here.
Bryan and I both had Tahiti style shrimp cocktail to start,
he then had the Colonial chicken curry with coconut petals
and I had the Conchiglie pasta with grilled zucchini and eggplant, red pesto and lemon oil.
Danielle had the Black Pearl burger and fries,
and Francesca had the kebab of mini Pirate sausages and fries.
For dessert, Danielle had the Captain's chocolate chip cookie,
Francesca had The Chef's Surprise which is the Mickey jigsaw puzzle that you can paint,
and Bryan and I both had Marco Polo Ice-cream with pina colada, banana, chocolate and whipped cream.
Mmmmmm….delicious. This was a lovely meal in a beautiful, exotic setting and was just as good as last year.
Afterwards I stayed behind to tape Fantillusion, which was fantastic as always, whilst the others had an early night.
