Wanyama (Sunset) Safari at AKL/AKV - Price Question

Trying to decide whether to spring for this, since we'll be dining at Jiko anyway. I've heard the price for non-concierge guests is $210 per person (eek!). Does anyone know if this price includes tax, and how much tip for the guides is customary?

You pay for this at the end of your meal at Jiko. Tax and an 18% tip was included in the price.

We were staying concierge so we paid $160/person. Here is the breakdown from the bill we received at the end of the meal:

Concierge Wanyama Adult: $268.54
18% Gratuity: $34.66 <--- This actually works out to be 18% of $192.56 ??
TAX: $16.81
AMOUNT DUE: $320.01

As noted above, the 18% tip seems to apply to just the meal portion of the charges. It works out to about $96.25 of the $160/person cost.

I just got my Credit Card bill with the Wanyama Safari I did. The $210 included everything-tax and tip. We had 2 guides for the safari itself. Maybe everyone on our safari was a bunch of cheapskates, but I didn't see anyone tip the guides.

You don't tip the guides - they're not tipped employees.
