I have a D70s, I use it for indoor and outdoor, portrait and landscapes, just about everything, from country to city and chasing the kids. My current lens is a Nikkor AF 28-80 1:3.3-5.6G.
We'll be heading to Europe for five weeks this summer and I'm wanting a second lens for the trip, something with more range. We'll be spending a week in Provence and visiting the south of France for the first time so I'm excited to get some pictures of new regions of France - we're usually only in the North and west of France!
Now my husband is the challenge, he's not going to want to spend a lot at all. He doesn't have my love of photography, he's fine with a point and shoot and moderately blurry pictures and he pinches pennies until they bleed. Factor in this and the cost of the trip and I'm up against a brick wall! Something around $150 would be ideal though I'm not sure it's possible. Any ideas??
