Wanted to share..our waitlist came through for Food & Wine

So excited, and hoping this will give members some hope. This is the first time ever we have had our waitlist for the Boardwalk come through around food & wine time! We called EXACTLY at the 7 month mark, and just yesterday I got the email. We were originally staying at Bay Lake Towers form 10/17-10/24 in a 1 Bdrm. We now have a 1 Bdrm Villa Garden/pool view at Boardwalk. So freaking excited!! So keep the faith. I still can't believe we got it! Even MORE excited for the trip now

FIRST F&W for us in October, 1 night BWV, 3 nights Poly! CANNOT WAIT! YES, when youngest is "off to college", it does have its benefits, like "not traveling in summer or around school schedules, lol!

Congratulations on your waitlist! We had a nice surprise in Spring of '14 when ours came through prior to the 60 day mark for BWV (not to mention that the original booking was made only 4 months ahead). But also, several years back, I booked BCV at 11 months during F&WF, then later had to cancel. So that could be how the luck happens; people plan ahead, but then things change, thereby making Magic for others!

Congrats. We used to stay the week at BWV also for F&W, but we like the Halloween stuff at MK, so now we have settled on spending Sat. night at the BWV (so we can crawl back to our room after Party for the Senses....the best party ever) and then will switch to BLT for the remainder of the week. We are not big on drinking around the world and all that, although we will do the meal plan for Sat. and will get our snacks....they are soooo good during F&W.

Congrats! I am still waiting on 1 night at BCV during food and wine. I was lucky, and got 8 nights in a row there at 7 months, but the first night was not availible. I was able to book at BWV for the first night, but I switched to OKW to save points, plus parking is much better. I am hopeful my BCV will come through though, I'd rather not have to move.

Congrats! 2 yrs ago we lucked out and got our Columbus Day weekend waitlist for BWV--such a surprise! Enjoy! The location can't be beat for F&W!
