Below is a tentative list of the places we would like to have dinner on our next trip. I am wondering which places have "cool" desserts for kids-and what are they?? Especially looking for "fancy scluptured" desserts

LeCellier
Crystal Palace
OHanas
Chef Mickey's
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Boma
Coral Reef

LeCellier has the chocolate "moose" shaped like a moose (not that "fancy or sculpted" imo) as well as s'mores which are pretty fun looking (the marshmallows come on a skewer)

Crystal Palace is a buffet so the desserts are nothing outstanding looking; ditto for Chef Mickey's and Boma (although the zebra domes are cute and quite tasty)

don't know anything about the other three, sorry...

It's not on your list but Alfredo's has strawberry mousse shaped like a ladybug. :)

My DD8 got the S'mores ffrom Le Cellier for free for her birthday. Very pretty presentation, but it was impossible to eat. It was too hard to bite and you couldn't cut it with a knife. It made a nice picture for the scrapbook though. :sunny:

She loved the chocolate "moose" @ Le Cellier. We've been to several of the other restaurants you listed and had dessert. Nothing stands out in my memory like the look on her face that one night.

Of course, her very favorite was the chocolate-covered Mickey bar @ Epcot!

This is the 'Build your own Sundae' kids dessert from Coral Reef :)

Although it's not the most nutritious meal, our kids think it's the greatest thing in the world when we get a Kitchen Sink for lunch at Beaches and Cream. A Kitchen Sink is certainly not a dessert to order for one, or two, or three kids, but it's a great treat for everyone to share. It's big enough for all four of us to eat as a meal, but we've never actually finished it. For our next trip, we're determined to do it. I guess we'll have to get a lot of practice in before we go! ;)

At the Yachtsman Steakhouse they have a kids' dessert called "Mickey's Puzzle Dessert". It's white chocolate puzzle pieces with different colours of sugar paint to decorate them...plus a fancy white cupcake and a chocolate stenciled Castle on the plate, too. My kids thought it was just super. Me, too, by the way. I know it wasn't on your list but, whatever. Just my two.

Another cool desert for kids was at the Concourse Steakhouse. It was a big sugar cookie shaped like Mickey and it came with 3 diffent icing colors and a paint brush and a few different sprinkles so the kids could decorate the cookie. My kids loved it.

Soooo...the top pic in your post was the Campfire S'mores at Le Cellier?!

oops - yes that's the S'mores from LeCellier...

I couldnt believe DD didnt "eat" it - so I thought to "help her out" :rotfl2: and it wasnt nearly as tasty as it looks...

Not on your list - but the Kiddie Kone from Kona Cafe was a huge hit with our 4 yr old DS...!

Its an ice cream cone filled with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, a chocolate Mickey swizzle stick, loaded with M&M's and the base is surrounded by blue cotton candy. It was his favorite treat all week when we celebrated his birthday.

Just an idea!

This doesn't fall under the category of sculpted desserts, but it was one of the tastiest: the peanut butter shake at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. I had it for dessert when we had dinner there and it was sooooo good! Just thought I would mention it because it is something a little different.

The dessert my kids talked about the most was the chocolate fondue at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It was just gorgeous and enough for them to share which was fun.

OOOH yes, that PB&J shake was to DIE FOR!!!

The s'mores dessert from Le Cellier received a "thumbs down" from DS. He didn't finish it and he is a sweet tooth. We have a s'mores maker at home that we love to use.

Not fancy at all but my dd's favorite is "worms in dirt" available at many counter service restaurants.

When I look at allears.net I cannot find s'mores on the Le Cellier Menu at all? PLEASE ADVISE

I don't know if it is still there, but Artist Point had an edible puzzle that you paint with icing. My DN loved it!
