What a great idea! I was trying to get my mom to post for the same thing, but she is too chicken. SO, are there any middle-aged women in the Orlando area who need an annual pass buddy?

What a great idea for a thread, not only does it help passholders find someone to hang with for a day, anyone else who maybe down alone maybe able to find someone on this list to spend a day with.

Just because this is a Disney site does not mean that everyone on here is as Disneylike as they might/should be.

Please be careful about posting personal info and if you do plan to meet someone you do not know make sure it is a public place and do not go off with anyone you just met, even an on site room.

That being said I cannot think of a better place for a 'first date" than DW. It would be better than those e dating things I hear about.

Find out if you are compatiable beforehand. A Soaring fan is not likely to get along well with a Dumbo fan but stranger things have been known to happen.

My hubby proposed the first time he met me, in the real world. Took me 3 years to give in though. I am the cautious type. It will be 34 years in a few months. Not sure it is gonna last though. He is a Soaring fan and I am an EWP gal. (on the good side of the coin he gets to ride his rides twice as he uses my extra FP).

I would love to read some reports of people who have met at Disney.

Quite honestly I put my info up not so much for a date, but to meet people that perfer or sometimes do not want to do a park solo, I have met several people in the parks and spent the day with them, it's not like I met them at their hotels and went off with them in a car! People meet at the park and enjoy the day, most people that want to do a park day are not the types you need to be afraid of. Sometimes we can be to cautious to the point of living in a shell, there are many people out there that want to meet others and are perfectly sane and safe.

I met my boyfriend while on solo vacation at Disney. We met at Epcot while on "The Land" ride and we started to talk, we hit it off and he and I walked around talking and enjoying our day. As it turned into night he offered to take me to dinner at the place of my choice (it also happened to be my birthday) so I naturally said I couldnt let him do that but he insisted so we ended up eating at the resturant Coral Reef (I believe is the name and we were lucky to get in without reservations may I add it was also his pick since I didnt want a expensive meal with someone I had just met) We aggreed to meet the next day at the Magic Kingdom and by the end of the trip we swaped number's (we both live in Florida about 2 hours away from eachother and Disney) and things went from there.

What magical moments. You guys are right in that MOST people are nice. As a mom I just do not want anything to happen to anyone, especially my children or any DIS friends.

I truly believe that going out and doing what you enjoy and then looking around and seeing others who feel the same way is a fantastic way to meet soul mates. Just be a tad bit careful, just in case. Please??
