Want to try something different at Epcot for lunch- ideas?

Looking at the other thread about eating at the same place, I realize we do the same thing. We often go to the same restaurants every trip!

I'd like to try a new restaurant at Epcot for lunch. Right now we have ADRs for Coral Reef at 11:35, but DH and I have already eaten there a couple times. The kids haven't, but we often go to aquariums, etc, so it's not a must-do for us.

We have also been to Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, and want to try a good TS at WS. We'll have our 2 boys with us, ages 7 and 6 at the time. It will be right before Christmas.

As of today, all restaurants but Le Cellier are available. Which would you pick and why?

Mexico or Germany are fun for kids.

I was going to suggest the same 2 restaurants as the previous poster! The Biergarten in Germany is a really fun place - great food, atmosphere, and fun live music. San Angel Inn in Mexico is a fantastic place. I love the food there and the atmosphere is wonderful - my favorite WS restaurant!!!!

I agree Mexico and Germany would be fun places with kids. The food is decent...I have had better Mexican food here at home, but I do love the Mexico pavilion. I did enjoy my meal in Germany too. I've had a decent lunch in France...although it does have that "fancy" feel about it. The lunch specials are pretty good though - kid friendly food options though so don't let that scare you away.

I personally am really looking forward to the new restaurant in Italy to open...the pizzeria? Napoli something.... That's where I think we will be going on our next trip.

Biergarten! It's the one restaurant that my kids have to eat at EVERY trip. It's so much fun and has great food. The pretzel bread is amazing!

My first choice is San Angel Inn, next would be Chefs De France.

SAI - because it is awesome. Best atmosphere in all of WDW. The pavillion has a little boat ride in it, and the restaurant sits next to the "river". It looks like you are eating outside by a river in Mexico!! So cool.
The food is good, not tex mex style like we americans are used to. It is more traditional dishes, so I recommend you look at the menu to see if it appeals to you.

Chefs - They have some awesome dishes, the mac and cheese, the ham and cheese sandwich....oh and the puff dessert, love that.

BECAUSE it's an ole standby. While in the WS, try something new! Biergarten would be my vote because of the 2DS. Unless, of course, you live in an area where you can always get awesome German food. Look at the menus. What about Morocco?

While I love San Angel Inn - even recommended it above, I really think their food is lacking. They served Tostitos brand chips and salsa...seems sad for an "authentic" Mexican eatery. At the very least the salsa could be homemade. That just put a damper on quality of the rest of my meal. Now that being said, I ate it all and didn't leave hungry

I personally didn't care for the table service restaurant in Morocco (whose name is escaping me) but I LOVE their counter service, Tangierine Cafe. Just thought the table service was overpriced and the food just okay. Of course if I was on the dining plan and not necessarily paying cash for my meal, that could change my opinion. Can't remember their kids options - if your kids are not too adventurous.

Also putting in a vote for San Angel Inn - again, just for the atmosphere - it's just so cool in there!!!!! We had lunch there on our recent trip two weeks ago.

Being German, I can get german food around home, but it really sounds like Biergarten might be worth the visit for the entertainment. I love me some good german music!

We also really like Chefs de France. They have a great 3 course lunch meal that's included in the DDP.

Hmm- maybe we'll try San Angel? I forgot to mention that we have also been to Biergarten. We had a large party so we had a table to ourselves and loved it.

San Angel would be something different- I'm not so sure about the food, either, but the atmosphere is awesome! Plus, we'd knock out Mexico before our afternoon break.

Still open to suggestions, though!
