I have 5 offdates of the Caregiver events ... three this week and 2 next week. I actually did one this past sunday as well. I was amazed at the number of boxes for the samples. I was not expecting Three HUGE boxes full of product. I actually have them in my ready to go as I am doing all the same events.

October is booked for me (pretty much--I have 5 events after unbooking 2this week). I have one for Nov. 4. I am now overly anxious waiting for November. Can any experienced reps tell us if Nov and Dec are slower than the rest of the year due to the holidays or busier than the rest of the year due to the holidays? Thanks.

November and December up until December 15th I believe were very busy for me as well last year. I did some wine events as well as the Tassimo events. By the time that December wrapped up I was anxious for a break. So here is hoping that it will steadily increase. I only have two events booked for October, though. I guess it is a blessing in a way because my 9 yrold has tons more of homework this year and the kids are super involved at church.

Anyone doing the Sarah Lee Thursday. Last year people loved the meat sandwiches this year they changed to peanut butter and jelly,hmm!

I'm doing Sara Lee Thursday. I was wondering about the peanut butter and jelly, too. How many adults will sample PB&J???
Last year the store had no meat, so I was told to demo cheese sandwiches. I got a lot of comments about that. Some people thought it was totally strange to have a cheese only sandwich. Others wouldn't sample because there was no meat.
Can't imagine the comments I'll get about PB&J sandwiches!

There are Merchandising events showing up for Walmart 10/05 & 11/02 from 11:00am-12:00pm. Only one hour but the walmart is close to my house so I'll go work for an hour, no problem.

3M Pet Care Dental just showed up here at Petco for 11/3, 11-4. Did this event at WM a couple of months ago. Maybe I'll sell some at a pet store.

There aren't any instructions up for it yet but when I used to do merchandising it was usually resetting a counter for a new product. Whatever it is, it's obviously not very involved since it's only going to take an hour. I got two of them so I'll let you know when I find out what it involves.

I booked my first two offdates for tomorrow and friday, for some reason all of the winn didies dont get picked up. They offered an extra $10 for them too so that worked out good.

The rate sheet I got with my MC card has Merchandising/Audit listed as a base rate of 12.00 and then 5.00 for reporting and all that. So if that is correct then it's 17.00 for an hour of work. Works for me. If it were further away I wouldn't consider it worth it but since it's less than a 10 minute drive it's all good.

I got that email about the Winn Dixie events, unfortunately none of them were near me. I do have my first event tomorrow and it's at a Winn Dixie. I'll be conducting a shopper survey and giving anyone who completes one a 5.00 WD gift card. I think it will be fun.

There are still Target cinn cereal available. It just kills me to see them sitting there.

Petco showed up, but only at stores outside my 40 mile range. Nothing inside 40 miles?

OK I'm starting to get a complex over here. I have had no new events posted, in weeks.. NOTHING!!! And to top it off, the paperwork I put in the mail 12 days ago, for 3 events, was back in my mailbox today for insufficient postage!! What the heck! It took 12 days to get back to me?! And this is the second time this has happened, I have no clue why. The envelopes are not overweight or oversized!

No wonder I have no new jobs posted, they think I'm a SLACKER!!

ETA: LOL we must have been posting at the sametime Splash! At least I'm not alone over here!!

double da**it. There is a promotion posted at my ft job--applications and all corresponding documentation must be in by COB Monday. I need to unbook this Saturday's event if I can find someone to take it. Since this promotion potential would mean promotions for the next 3 years I need to do my best on the application--there will literally be hundred of applicants!!!!

I NEED BAGEL KNOWLEDGE FOR TOMORROW.

I'm sampling Sam's Choice Yogurt Cream Cheese in 4 flavors at SuperWalmart (2pm-7pm). I'm to buy "STORE BRAND BAGELS" & heat them in a toaster.

Its been years since I've bought bagels in the store. Lenders used to come frozen, but recently noticed they are in dairy section as refrigerated. Also know they sell bagels in the bread area.

Would you buy refrigerated or from bread aisle?
Would you use toaster or toaster oven to "heat until warm or golden brown"?

For anyone else doing this event, I'm bringing a better knife to cut the bagels. AND I'm bringing a small supply of plastic knives from home to spread each flavor cream cheese. They sent 1 knive to cut & spread all flavors. lol

Also, wet paper towels for cleaning.

And just how do they expect people to remove 1/6th of a 1/2 a bagel with cream cheese on it from a souffle cup? It would have been better to just put the samples on napkins. (If you don't get the kit, it says to buy napkins to use for samples. duh!)

I wonder if anyone ever tests their instructions before they release them. Last weeks Warm Delights instructions were wrong for how much water to add to the mix. It hasn't been the first time.

Is there a UPC for the bagels? I like bagels from the bread isle myself. Don't know about price difference though with your budget.

Does your toaster have a bagel slot? Before I got my new toaster, I'd have to press the bagel flatter to get it in the toaster. My toaster oven is the cheaper of the two appliances so I'd probably take it incase something got damaged.

I'm doing an off-date for Salute to Savings tomorrow. Wish I was doing bagels.

No UPC on bagels. It just says 5 pkgs store brand bagels (6ct) from grocery.

We have a 20 year old toaster. Works fine. Clean. I was wondering how fat bagels are & yeah it might get stuck &/or burn. I don't believe its wide slot due to the age.
