We won't be down there but for 2 days (in Nov) - it's a band trip - but we can sneak away at least for supper...so where do you recommend? or any other ideas besides a meal that would be special?

Outside of the park, I love Citricos, Jiko, and The Boathouse.

In AK, Nomad Lounge is always a nice place to take a break or spend a few hours.

Lots of restaurants in Epcot are great for a special occasion dinner.

Enjoy! My husband and I are going by ourselves (no kids!) for the first time this November.

If you can sneak away for long enough, the dates line up, and money is not a challenge, the Highway in the Sky Dine Around is a wonderful experience that does not require park admission., and they do have some dates in November.

California Grill is also a great choice for a great experience.

Good luck ... many moons ago I served on a band trip .... I am not sure I ever had 3 consecutive hours of sleep the whole time !

Jiko at AKL is another option outside of the parks that we really like. They have the Wanyama Safari and Dinner too if you want (and can take the time) to make an afternoon/evening of it. We haven't done that yet, but it looks fun.

Disney Springs has some options; we like Morimoto Asia

My husband and I love Victoria and Albert's at the GF for a special occasion, but it is expensive and is probably not available at this point for November. If it looks like something you would be interested in you can call and they may be able to put you on the waitlist.

Have fun!

I'd second California Grill at the Contemporary; we went there on our honeymoon, our second anniversary and now we're booked in again for our 4th anniversary. Food is amazing and if you can get a table around 7:30-8pm then you'll be there for the fireworks too.

Depending on your budget you can also book out one of the boats around seven seas lagoon for a special trip. I know someone who did this for a birthday earlier on in the year for her and her boyfriend and they had a great time.

Enjoy your trip!

If you are going to spring for a park entry I would suggest Epcot for the variety of restaurant choices and adult evening experiences.

If you are looking to stay out of the parks I would suggest dining at one of the monorail resorts.
Wishing you a pixiedust: anniversary!
