Want to change resorts and have the 40% code!!!!

After reading many posts on this board about construction at AKL, I'm seriously considering changing our resort. Our children will need a nap at midday and I don't want to hear construction noise while we're in the resort. I called disney travel they were very nice and will switch resorts but everything I wanted was booked I'm trying to get the CR, garden view standard, which would only increase our package by $200 but it is unavailable, garden view is available for around $580 more (don't think it's worth it). I tried for the GF for standard room and they are unavailable . The poly is available for $700 more, but I don't know if I'm willing to pay that much more for that resort. Any suggestions, any advice? Thanks, Linda

Why not just add a request to your AKL ressie to be away from the construction area because you have kids that will nap.

I'm sticking with AKL and we have a 2yr old. We will be there the first of Jan. I would just request to be away from the construction. I know if I had 40% off I would stick with it Good luck!

most posts that I have read on this boards regarding the AKL construction, no one has seemed to conplain at all to me! I have the AKL at the 40% and plan on keeping it!....The only other resort what would be around the same price for you is the WL,,,of course the deluxes will be more and mod less...
