Hi I have all my ADR's made for our May trip. After looking at them, my husband and kids decided that they do NOT want to eat at WCC this trip. Here's our schedule!

May 17th dinner Ohana 5:15
May18 dinner Crystal Palace 5:10
May 19 Here is our WCC dinner 5:30, switch to WHERE???
May20 lunch Tusker House 11:30
May21 Dinner Tony's Town Square 5:30

So where should I try to book? We will NOT be in a park on the 19th, and we don't want a Character meal. So what's good to try with 2 kids 7,9 that are worth 1TS each? Thanks!

If it is a non park day perhaps something at the Boardwalk? This is a fun area to see. ESPN Club is a sports club that has typical "bar" food. It is a bit noisy with all the TV's but fun. They do not take ADR's but you seem to like early dinners, so you should be fine. Many folks love Spoodles, we have not eaten here, or Big River Grille, a brew pub food. The Boardwalk is a fun place to visit.
Have a Great Trip.

I agree, the Boardwalk is a fun evening. We have been to the ESPN Club a few times and had no trouble getting in early. And we loved Spoodles a few years ago.

Or what about Downtown Disney? We really enjoyed Raglan Road with the music and step dancer (although she is there a bit later in the evening).

I would suggest Boma. We went a little early on our dinner here so we could check out the AKL and see some of the animals. I loved it.

I haven't tried it, but hope to this next time, but I hear that Earl of Sandwich in DTD is pretty good. There are a few others in DTD - take a look at some menus.

Well we already have Ohana, and Boma is out because we're already doing Tusker House Buffet for lunch. I'm seriously thinking adding a park day just to get admission to Epcot. Is that crazy??

right now we have a 3 day base ticket, (2days MK, 1 day AK)

we could just go into Epcot on our down day for dinner, and leisurely wander around. Has anyone ever done that? The difference between a 3 day, and 4 day is not much!

Sure have ... and then, after dinner, you can also stay for Illuminations ...

Otherwise, how about Cape May Cafe or Beaches & Creams at the Beach Club Resort ... then you could also walk around to the Boardwalk ...

What do they offer for kids? We will be using 1 TS for each of us. Beaches & Cream seems more like an OOP place, no??

Well right now I'm thinking of trying KONA for Dinner OR adding a day to our passes and trying the new Italian place in Epcot.

Cape May Cafe offers their "Clam Bake Dinner Buffet" every night which is very good (and 1 TS per person)... they also have a kids station on the buffet that offers dishes like mac & cheese, chicken strips, hot dogs, etc. .. Beaches & Cream is your basic hamburgers, sandwiches, and of course, ice cream for dessert and it is also considered a 1 TS meal ...

I personally enjoy any restaurant in Epcot ... I don't think you can go wrong with Epcot ... I also enjoy walking around Epcot at night ..

Thanks for all your help! We were going to "skip" Epcot this trip, but it looks like I'll add a day on just to go in for dinner! The kids will be happy, we can get in a ride with Figment after dinner! HA HA

Any good reviews on the new Italian restaurant? Anyone???:confused3

I think your 2 boys might like Biergarten at Epcot. We love the oompah band and the atmosphere. My DD6 loves it when we hold up our glasses and shout
oiy, oiy, oiy. She also enjoys the open dance floor with DH.The food is yummy too!
If that is not up your alley,Coral reef is fun with the fish aquarium in view while you eat.Have a great trip!:goodvibes
