Want the ultimate stroller for your princess?

Yeah, this came up here a few weeks ago. It's funny. Wonder how many people actually rent one?

Guess I missed the previous thread. I just saw it in my facebook feed this morning and thought... "WOW! $300 for a one day stroller rental? That thing better cart my whole family around and right to the front of every line!"

Agreed! That is the only way I would shell out that much money for a stroller rental....

Saw one at the parks on Sunday. Moving too fast to take a picture but it wasn't quite as "lovely" as the photo. It actually looked kinda cheap with the seats an ugly grey/blue vinyl. Almost looked homemade. The funny part to me is the only kid in it was a boy about 9 years old, the girls were walking.

I've seen these 3 times but we're local and go often so take that with a grain of salt. The most ridiculous one I saw was a mom with 2 boys about 6 or 7 and she was having a VIP CM push it for her! Talk about having too much money.

I saw two on our trip in December, both on the walking path from CR to MK. They looked pretty awesome!

What happens when you want to go on a ride and someone "borrows" the stroller? Are you out mega-money for the theft? I guess you have to bring a lock for it, and lock it to itself somehow? And even if someone doesn't take it, you know other kids are going to be all over it in stroller parking!

We saw one on Thursday night.

But it looked much nicer. The little girl had obviously had her hair done and was wearing a princess costume.

Seem pretty over the top for me.

As a nurse I've learned not to judge outward appearances. Mom may have an unseen handicap such as cardiac or respiratory issues.
Of course, she could just be lazy, but I'll never know...

I might rent it for a wedding...
Or a spectacular day at MK...
Will I fit? DH could push me!
It's a lot more attractive that a wheelchair or a mobility scooter!
(I am very grateful that I do not need either!!!)

I work in heathcare as well and I wholeheartedly agree with you about not judging one by their outward appearance. However, that was not my point. The point was I would never dream in a million years to get a $300 princess stroller for my two boys that are old enough to not need a stroller and then pay someone $600 an hour to push it! The whole thing just looked absolutely ridiculous.

I think that it's cute. IMHO, not worth $300 for a day, but it's WDW so to each his/her own. I don't understand a lot of the extras that people spend money on at WDW-the CL FP+ opportunity comes to mind at $600 for a family of 4. That being said, I have many friends and relatives who don't get why we vacation at WDW at all - much less yearly. I love the world-it takes all kinds of kinds :upsidedow.
