Maybe you guys already know about this site: www.virtualmodel.com

If not, check it out! You can put in data to make the model look like you (or a good likeness) plus put in your ideal weight and get a 3D pic of the new you! I love it! They put the model in a string bikini so you can see what you would look like from all angles. Great fun as you are on your journey downward!

Fun! I watched 'myself' lose in 15 lb increments!

How neat!! Thanks so much for posting this, it is fun to play around with!! LOL

This is what my results were, I only wish I really looked like this! I have a tiny bit more weight around the hips and my stomach area is not as flat as this! (DH said my calves are much slimmer and my hips are about 2" bigger, but otherwise not a bad model.)

WOW, that was fun. Thanks for posting the link. I can only dream that I am going to look like my model!! :teeth:

that was fun. I took my model down to 140 which is my goal. The only thing is my model had a nice small butt and mine is big..even when I'm skinny!

I'm glad you guys liked it. I think it's an invaluable tool to help you find your ideal weight. I tried my model out with 160 pounds and 150. I was still too heavy in my eyes. When I took it down to 140 pounds I was happy so that is what I am making my goal.

That is soooo cool! After going through all the steps and the model popped up, it looked just like me! Then I modified it in 10 lbs. increments and it was amazing! I can't wait to look like that!

I did my virtual model at the weight I was not too long ago and BOY was it IDENTICAL!!
LOL!! It's fun!

That is a neat site. I had found it once a really long time (or one like it) but it was lost when a computer went to computer heaven :( Anyway Ds9 was watching me do this. He says "Mom it almost looks like you but your legs are fatter." Then I switched it to 110lbs and he says.."You looked like that in your high school pictures. Do you think you will really look like that again??" Followed by "Can Josh spend the night?" He really needs to learn that timing is everything...lol;)

(BTW...Josh isn't spending the night ...I'm taking Nick to his house:p )

I just did one for Michael. You should've seen his eyes when I showed him how he could look in a couple of months! :earseek:

Thanks. That was fun, & a good motivator as well. I can only hope I come out looking as good as the model did!

What a great link! Thanks Lisa. So encouraging to see that my goal weight will look PRETTY GOOD on me. ::yes::

I love the Virtual Model!

Lands End uses that technology on their website. You can pick a swimsuit and approximate how it will look on you at different sizes... I have found it very helpful, and very motivating.

Plus, it's FUN. :p

THAT was almost scary!

Can anyone (who tried these weights) tell me why there was this seemingly BIG difference between 150 and 160? At least that's where I finally noticed a difference.

I've got a LOT more clippies to go to get to a weight of 150lbs!

I know what you mean KimRaye. I "thought" I wanted to weigh 160 until I saw that model. Even at 150 I thought I looked pretty big. I settled on 140 but tried 145 and didn't see too much of a difference between those two weights. Weighing 145 will put me at the top of the weight chart for my height but I don't see myself weighing between 110-130 which is what I am supposed to weigh for my height. 145 suits me just fine! I've got many many many clippies to go to reach my goal but it is nice getting a sneak preview!

Thanks, Lisa, that was fun! I think I missed the "add stretch marks" feature, though. My virtual self was definitely missing them!

What a cool site ~ If only I could carry it around with me and perhaps I would stop stuffing my face with rubbish.

I used that site a million times to try things on Landsend.com. I never dreamed to put in a lower weight for motivation. I'll have to try that. THANKS!

BTW...yes, I'm still here. Just been too busy and exhausted with my new job to post much. But I'm plugging away with exercise. Plus my new job is a physical one (not sitting at a desk type) so I'm losing a little bit of weight but I still have to work on improving my diet.

Anyway, my virtual model looks just like me. It's really weird.
