Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Good Job everyone. Well my miles and time will be short this week as I am preparing for surgery. Ten to 14 days down :sad1: . Trying to get laundry done and have stuff ready for next week as we head back to school then. We are on spring break now. Anyway I did manage an 1:20 minutes with trainer. .86 mile run in there with that. I did a 5.15 mile run in 50 minutes tonight. Keep well and keep strong. Go Warriors:cheer2:

Hi All...

Drive by...

Everyone is doing a fantastic job!!!

Lilly - glad you're feeling great about what you're doing - most important! Congrats.

Carrie - I hope you're feeling better soon...

Roxy - , you're doing great and with so much going on getting ready - :wizard: for a wonderful and quick recovery....

Jim - great job!!!

3disneykids - congrats, that's awesome!

Becky - hope you're feeling better and were able to get your walk in with the girls.

1/2marathonpixie - good luck with the book fair!

Stacie - great job getting the walk in last night!

Jen - :wizard: in convincing hubby for May

Ok - for me: I didn't get anything in last Friday - I didn't get in till Midnight :cool1:, rare for me.... then was awakened at 4:30 to DD getting sick:sick: , Luckily it was only a 24 hour thing and was better by Sunday. :cool1:

Sunday - did 35 minutes total (tm :headache: and stretching) miles 1.25
Monday - rest
Tuesday - made the mistake of eating a big dinner - was quite yummy, but not so good for exercising, so only did about 20 minutes total (tm & stretching) .5 miles
Wednesday (so far) I went out at lunch with a coworker and we walked for 50 minutes, and did about 2.5 miles. YIPPPEEE :yay: I'm very excited to finally get out. It was brisk, but it was great!

Have a great day everyone!!!
Stacey :woohoo:

Hey little warriers.

Stacey- congratulations on getting outside! That's a really good brisk walk.

Roxy- you're doing so well winding down stuff for your op. I hope you don't get frustrated and take your time. Even so you'll pumping out the hours!!!

Yay Lily made some steps! Glad you're doing ok and have such a great attitude :cutie:

Becky- well done for getting on the TM after a bug- hope you took it easy

Tracy- that is a speedy 3.1 miles good effort.

Stacie- oh a nice walk without thinking about the mileage sounds lovely. Bet you covered more than you imagined too.

3disneykids- WHOOP you hit 5miles- that's fantastic. Keep it up!!!!

Just back from 7miles on TM after a bit of training at work. Turned it up to 9.7kmh (6.03mph) with a few bursts at 10.1 (6.28mph) at the end. Took 69 mins so very happy with that. Hoping it simulates the speed i'm running outside a bit better as struggling to keep going on the road.

Also going to my first ever proper gig later- does 2 hrs bouncing in standing only count as exercise? KEEP IT UP EVERYONE- YOU'RE ALL AMAZING

6.25 miles in 57:30 today. A windy, bright beach run. Kinda' cool in the wind, but a nice day.

Great Job Everyone!

1:20 minutes with personal trainer strength and circuit training
10.01 mile run 1:39.:)

HI! ::wave:

Popping in to post I did 3.4 mile tonight (run/walk) with stretching and all it was 1 hr, 5 minutes. It took me 48 minutes to do 3 miles!!! ugh. I thought my time had improved, but I guess not... We'll see how the rest of the week goes!

TTFN!
Stacie

That post above was for Weds.

For today (Thursday)....4.1 miles...time spent running plus weight training = 70 minutes. Keep going Warriors!

Hi everyone! Great job!

Update: my walk yesterday was actually 3 miles! Yippee And I know this b/c I did it today and took my garmin along. :cool1: Today: 50 minutes 3 miles. Tonight my focus is on some ab work and stretching.

Have a great day!

I just wanted to share with you guys that I got new socks!!! Yay! They are the Zulu brand from Fleet Feet...so comfy! On the packet...It says "made for the warrior" or something that affect. Thought that was funny since I'm a Walt's Warrior! :goodvibes

Stacie

Hey everyone my stomach bug has now morphed into a head cold - yay. So I got 3 miles in yesterday in 41 minutes on the TM. Looks like my miles will be low for this week, oh well.

Hope everyone is doing better than I am. Take care all :)

Becky

<<smileyk8 Hey little warriers.
Also going to my first ever proper gig later- does 2 hrs bouncing in standing only count as exercise? KEEP IT UP EVERYONE- YOU'RE ALL AMAZING>>

Smileyk8: I think that bouncing should count!!! Thanks for the amazing part!!

Stacie: (postesf) I sometimes have days that it seems like it takes me forever to do 2 miles. Those days come and then they go...just keep it up!!

I went to the park after work again and got it some time. Temp about 78 and clear!!
Warmup and down was 3min 40sec.
Did 3.10 miles in 42:32!! Another PR, :yay: just hope I can keep it up. The last mile I was having some IBS issues, but made it through.

Take care all you Warriors.:)

Hey team!

I ran 3 miles in 35 minutes Thursday night. I'm basing my mileage on my time and the fact that I was in my usual neighborhood, since my Garmin decided to just be a big clunky accessory. Apparently when it says "low battery" it doesn't mean charge me later tonight, it means charge me NOW!

Hope all our sickies get to feeling better. Don't overdo it!

OH, and guess what!? DH and I were talking last night and he totally thinks he came up with the idea of going to the Minnie in May. Am I good or what? Before I fully commit, I need to decide on a hotel... (and I'll probably have to buy some cool Warrior socks;) )

Surgery went well. The tumor had not wrapped all the way around the ligament like they thought.:thumbsup2 Thanks for all the support Warriors. :) You all rock!!!:flower3:

Glad to hear everything is good and thats great news about the tumor not being wrapped around the ligament:) . Take it easy on yourself for a few days.
(Elevate and Ice!!)

In no time you'll be back to Warrioring before you know it.

Happy Friday Warriors!!!

This week I did 8 miles, 120 minutes.

Great job everyone, let's keep it up!

7.2 miles this morning in 68 minutes.

Roxy - Nice news on the foot.

Roxy- i'm so pleased to hear surgery went well and it was a better situation than expected. That has to be a great thing. Hope you're feeling ok :wizard:

Stacie- they could be our official socks :rotfl: Comfy socks are the best find ever aren't they.

Tracy way to go on your personal best- i hope you're bouncing with pride.

Becky don't worry about low miles for one week- you'll pick up when you're back healthy again.

1/2marathopixie- wahoo, you're going great guns.

Jen- i think it's a gift provided soley to women to be able to convince husbands/partners that something was their idea. Great job with that. Are you looking at on or off site hotel? We need all out warriers in action (plus selfishly i want to meet you all!!!). Maybe you have a teenage garmin- a bit moody at times!

Jeff- 8 miles is fantastic and hope you're having a happy friday too!

Jim- another fab distance, i'm still very envious of your pace!

I set myself a mission to run 5 miles outside today as my 'run the bridge' 5miler is next sunday and i'm scared . So got my dad to drop me off a good 3.5 miles away with the plan to run once more around our village when arrived. However, checked nike plus and was under 5miles so picked myself up for another village loop! Wahey. Total ran was 5.85miles on map my route (5.45 on nike plus) with 0.5miles cool down walk in 54mins.
