Walts open Christmas Day?

Does anyone know if Walts will be open Christmas Day for lunch? Hoping to do the dreams menu around the time of one of the christmas mini parades in the hope of getting a window seat!

I read somewhere (might have been on here in someone's TR - perhaps in last years if you have a look back?) that it was a special menu on Christmas day and therefore a (very) special price too. I don't think Walts will do a normal meal on Christmas day - and definitely not a Dreams one. Those meals are weekends only from now on - until notified otherwise. I do think the place will be open, but as before, it may be a special meal.

You could try giving the restaurant booking line a ring to ask.

Thank you! Just phoned and they are open as normal and for dreams meal as its high season so have booked dreams meal for 12.30, have not been to walts before so hoping its going to be okay

During French school holidays the t/s restaurants don't close Mon/Tues and at Christmas I'd be suprised if they closed any day

Hope you have a lovely meal at Walt's it's my favourite t/s restaurant and I am waiting on the new menu so I can return later this month

Wow, that is good news - just shows how much I know . I think the meal I mentioned was with characters so perhaps they aren't doing that on Christmas Day this year. What a lovely thing to do - I hope that you have a super time .

Thank you Carrie Cat, glad to hear good reviews of it! Wanted somewhere special for our Christmas Day meal and thought it looked perfect, hopefully not too posh for the kids though!

What a lovely place to have your Christmas lunch! It's got a very relaxed atmosphere in there so your kids will be fine.

I don't have a brochure in front of me so can't say for sure for this year but it's usually 'special' prices for special menus on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at Walt's but business as usual on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
