Walt: The Man Behind The Myth finally makes it to DVD, in an extended version, and with many interesting and informative extras. There are plentiful bonuses that even big fans and admirers will not have seen before, including some very rare home movies shot by Walt himself. I will keep you posted on the release date.

I just wanted to say that this has been available, at least since September when I first saw it, at wdw and at disneyland. It just hasn't been released outside of the parks. I don't know if there will be any additional stuff on the dvd when it is released outside the parks, but I sort of doubt it. Here are the extras on the one for sale now:

I almost think I may have seen this one time at our disney store, but I can't say for sure. I know they had it at the Kodak place in the wdw main street town square, at world of disney, and at the other wdw video places. It was 29.99 at the park, I'm sure you can get it from one of the shopping services (but you may want to hold out and see if there are any extra extras added in, but again, I doubt there would be another pressing, but who knows).

d-r, I have not been able to confirm the availability of the DVD version of this disc with WDW Mailorder. According to them, they only carry the VHS. I specifically mentioned that I knew someone who saw it at the Kodak store on Main Street and the World of Disney. If you or anyone else can give me a UPC bar code number I will pass it along to them.
