I love COP! That's cool that the voice is Jean Shepherd. On Christmas Day, we always watch "A Christmas Story" at least once on TNT. I have to ride it once during our trip. During our trip in 2002, my mom rode it with us and it brought her back to her childhood because she remembers her parents having the same refrigerator that appears in the '40's house.

When I rode it when I was a child, I remember the last scene being different than it is now, but I cannot pinpoint it. I guess they change the last scene every few years to make it more modern. Thanks for the facts!

COP is definitely one of my favorites. I would love to see it updated again. I personally think that they should take one of the opening or closing stages (ones without any animatronics now) and add a new scene for "Today".

We missed this attraction last year but I'm planing on making up for that next month and all the other little things we missed just so I can say we did it!!Makes me miss America Sings at DLR. I used 2 love that!! Now all the old America Sings characters show up in splash mountain.

I was wandering, since Jean sheppard isnt around anymore, , and if they do happen to update the last scene wouldnt they have to use a different voice for the father? they couldnt use the same recording b/c it wouldnt go along with the updated version.
