I've been looking on Amazon.com for Disney books. The following look interesting but the price!

Disney the First 100 Years $40
One Day at Disney $230

Has anyone ever read any of these??

Have not read either, but the 100 Years one is $28 on Amazon and a softcover is available for Feb shipping on Barnes & Noble for $20.

I have the One Day at Disney book. I got it at Barnesandnoble.com on sale for $9.99 about 6 months ago. It is a beautiful picture book, not really much to read, you just look at the pictures. That $230.00 on amazon might be a typo, because that seems ridiculous...or else it is a reseller trying to up the price. You might want to check ebay if you are really interested in that specific book.

The bookstores at outlet malls usually have killer deals on Disney books. I was able to find The Disney Villians, The Disney That Never Was, Before The Animation Starts, The Art Of Walt Disney & the art books (not the kids' story books, the real deal) from Snow White, Toy Story & Hercules for $10 each.

You may want to wait a few months for those ones, but then again, I think paying the extra cash is worth not having to wait sometimes. Then again you have to consider that a couple years ago I bought an out of print Epcot book for $70 that maybe cost $15-20 when it came out.
