I know I should have verified the full listing before I bid.... but hindsight is 20/20!
I have been bidding on the Walt Disney Treasures Mickey Mouse in Living Color for the last month or so and always get outbid. So imagine my surprise when I won the item yesterday for only $36 (compared to $55+).
The item was listed as "Like New" which means "...all facets of the item are flawless and intact."
After I won the auction I just sent a quick note to verify that the Tin was complete with all facets... and to my surprise they do not have ANY of the inserts. No 3x5 art, no Certificate of Authenticity... nothing.
I should have known that the people selling these items probably do not pay attention to all those inserts. I'll likely just have to suck it up and buy one of the $125 Brand New options.
Shame on me! But wanted to put this out there in case anyone else is looking at buying a Walt Disney Treasures Tin.
