Ok, got a question. We are going stay at Walt Disney for our honeymoon but not having our wedding there. I was just wondering how much a 5 or 6 day honeymoon deal would cost and I was wondering if you still get the mickey mouse honeymoon ears if you do not have your wedding there and just spend your honeymoon there, lol? I have seen the package deal for a family of 4 but didn't ever see any prices for a couple of two. Thanks in adavance.

We are spending part of our honeymoon at Disney World--only for 4 days. There are several "honeymoon packages".

Check out this link:

We are not doing a package, we are staying at the Port Orleans FQ for 5 nights. It's almost $700 for the lodging. That doesn't include tickets (we already have some) or food. You can book a package or just choose things on your own.

Good luck!!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and Disneymoon :goodvibes

Actually, you don't get bridal Minnie or groom Mickey ears when you get married there (my sister thought the same thing) anyone can buy those in the parks or at DTD. And they only sell the headband bride ears now, not the beannie cap style. Definitely check out the link above. There is a lot of information and you can have DFTW CM help you coordinate the perfect honeymoon.

:yay: I'm having my honeymoon at WDW too!!! (Aug 23-30 2006) We didn't do a "honeymoon package" per se...we just went to the website and booked our stay at the resort...for 7 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter, an 8 day parkhopper pass including waterparks and trip insurance it came out to $2080...which isn't all that bad...(then we are off to St. Thomas for another week which seems to be costing so much more!)

You can go to the website and put in all that you want and get they'll give you a quote!

Also, if you want a Minnie Ears Bride hat as opposed to the headband, I got mine online at mouseshoppe (I can't post attachements yet, but it's the www.com addy!!!) They were $15!!

Congrats!!!! :wizard: princess:

We looked into the honeymoon packages, but found it to be much cheaper to book everything seperately. We got our hotel and tickets through AAA, but they weren't a package. I ordered DisneyQuest tickets from ticketmania. We wore the ears the whole time and got married at home!

My daughter is booking through AAA also - I gave her a membership to AAA as one of her early wedding presents. On the WDW official site you can price your hotel and tickets - then compare it to AAA. I've heard varying opinions on just getting your AAA discount from Disney as opposed to using the AAA agent. Generally the AAA agents are happy to talk to you and answer questions, even if you aren't sure of what you want to do yet. One important thing is if you are going at a busy time - book soon! Do not delay! Have a first choice and second choice for your resort. My daughter is leaning towards Port Orleans, kind of stuck between French Quarter vs Riverside and needs to decide soon! You will get really good info on the Dis Boards - congrats & have a great honeymoon!
