Why is a Walt Disney school there? Just happened to notice Disney, Nebraska, on a map.

I actually know this! When the school was built, a kid put in his name for the new school, saying that he did a lot for kids & education. The school got the name! I live in the general area & thought that was so neat.

There's a Walt Disney Elementary School in Tullytown/Levittown, PA, too.

There is one in Chicago too near Wrigley Field. I used to live about 1/2 block from it .

There is a Walt Disney School in The Bronx....PS 160.
