Walt Disney 85th birthday collector plate

Does anyone know anything about this plate?
This plate was bought at Disneyland just over 15 years ago--it came in a blue box lined with blue velvet and the plate is wonderful...it has a painting of Walt surrounded by Disney characters--Mickey sits on his shoulder--there were 25,000 plates made but I have never heard anything about them or ever seen another like it.
Does anyone have any info on it at all?

I have that plate, too. I bought mine at WDW in a store on Pleasure Island.

I love it. I'd love to get the pin that looks like it.

I could not find anything out about this plate when I was searching.

I have that plate also. It is wonderful. Mine belonged to my sister. Now sure when she bought it, but she did buy a lot fo plates through mail order.

I think there was a COA that came with it but I could be mistaken.

I'll check the box later today and report back.
