Is there a Walmart anywhere near the Disney complex?

We don't have a car, none of us drive, but we would take a cab across there if it's close enough.

Thanks for any help

I'd like to know where the nearest one is too!

The closest Walmart (and it is a Super Center) is located at 3250 Vineland (nearest cross-Osceola Pkwy). It's about 6 miles and 10 minutes from POP. It's the one we know go to on our way in from MCO. We used to go to the one a little further away but this one is newer and closer. :goodvibes

Hope this helps!

This is a very nice Walmart. It was great to have "one stop shopping"

There is one about 3 minutes from the Nick Hotel which is just across from Disney. I have seen many people there in taxis so it must be the closest one. It is on the 535. The correct address is 3250 Vineland Ave. There are several others in the immediate area though. If you go on Walmart.com and put in a zip code (like 32830) it shows them all with addresses, phone #2 and a map. This one is a super center and it has everything including Disney Ts and souveniers.

Does anybody know which store the shuttle from airport to Hotel(organised Dreams) stops at?

Does Magical Express include a grocery stop?

Has anybody baught mini fridge from Walmart for their room at Disney?

Cheers,
Lynn

magical express does not include a grocery stop.

you can order groceries before you trip from
www.wegoshop.com
www.gardengrocer.com
www.netgrocer.com

you can also rent a car for one day at WDW - from alamo/national, or DD - budget

dollar also says it will pick you up and take you to their locations.

or you can take a taxi

from Pop turn left - then turn left again Osceloa Parkway - then the same block that Gaylord is on turn left - now on International South - when this deadend you can right on - 535 also called Apopka-Vineland rd - also called Vineland Rd - Walmart is a couple of blocks - Calypso Cay.

just say where you are staying.

no a problem in most cases - they can even deliver to your room. if there is a problem they can leave it with bell services/luggage.

there are even some delivery prepared/cooked foods that WDW allows.

Why would you buy a fridge? You can request a fridge in your room at Disney, maybe that is what you meant.

disney charges $10 a day. You can generally buy one cheaper like $30 or $40 a Walmart. Especially if you are staying 7 or more days.

now the moderates and deluxes have a fridge in their rooms. but the value don't.
