What!!! I wonderif the person you asked was mistaken. I just checked Walmart's website and it specificallylists the ipad mini as a guaranteed instock item.

We must have the best Wal-Mart ever. My DH has done the Thursday deals a couple of times after dinner is over and our kids are put to bed. He just goes over whenever and everything is always in stock. We bought a TV last year and I think he didn't make it over there until 10 pm or so because we were putting up the Christmas tree. No fights, no pushing, no police!

Perhaps she was just not wanting so many people at the store!!!

Still not sure I want to be one of them...it was crazy, crazy, crazy even 1/2 mile away last year - people were parked out on the highway. Very dangerous IMHO.

My only experience with want a BF item was many years ago. Not realizing how "big" of a deal it was I went in 10 minutes after opening to find that the item I want (2 Game Boys) were gone. I couldn't believe it. I am have never gone out again, except to get my free JcP Mickey snow globe and to watch the madness. NO "deals" are worth it to me.
