Walmart nearby?

We are planning a trip in June and will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside.. We are wondering about a close walmart / Target so we can catch a taxi or rent a car and get a few things for the parks. (Water / treats / etc.) Any suggestions??

There is a Wal-Mart Supercenter on 192 (IRLO Bronson Memorial Highway.) It is past Old Town about 3 miles, located right next to Midevil Times.

Not sure about a Target store.

The Target is just past that Wal-Mart on 192...it is about 1-2 miles on down the road. It is not a Super Target and does not have groceries.

Actually there is a new SuperTarget (opened in the fall) on 192 just east of SR-535. Much nicer than Walmart (but then again, isn't every Target?) because it is clean, organized and has helpful staff (which I have yet to find in any Walmart ever).

Sometime this year there is a brand new Walmart opening on SR-535 at Osceola Parkway. The building shell seems to be complete, not sure when the actual opening will be. Hopefully, this will be the exception to most Walmarts and it will remain clean with well-stocked shelves even after the grand opening (but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that ).

They are hiring for the new Wal Mart so hopefully they will be open soon. They also seem to be sprucing up the Wal Mart on 192.

there is a new Walmart US 27 and US 92 - that is around 5 to 7 miles from POR Star.

be careful using taxis.
