walmart employee discount ?

ok,, trying to plan out vaca and my bro who works at walmart said he can get 7 hopper tix for only $2 something.... doesnt seem right to me!! he got all ugly when i told him to double check!!!

doesn anyone know what discount they get!

The Orlando/Kissimmee area Walmarts do sell discounted WDW tickets to the public.

They are not substantially lower than any other reputable discounter, however.

I don't have any idea if Walmart makes special "deals" on tix available, subsidized for their own employees.

Wal-mart employees do get a discount, but they are not $2 tix. I'm a wal-mart employee and I got my tickets through the associate discount website. I think I saved a total of $75 on all the tix.

The discount is less then Disney's price but more then Undercover Tourist using the Mousesavers newsletter link.

To be clear, I think we are talking about two different KINDS of discounts.

1- The discounted WDW tickets that Walmart sells to customers who come to the stores.

2- The discounted WDW tickets that Walmart sells internally to the Walmart employees.

i'd say its probably more like the standard 10% a walmart employee gets(atleast thats the discount offered up here with your employee card). or maybe a bit better. i didnt even know walmart discounted tix for employees.....kinda late for me now! lol but then again maybe its not offered up here.
