Walmart Black Friday Deals released

I don't need any electronics this year, but I like some of those prices on toys, clothes, and the Rubbermaid containers! I guess i"m easy to please!

I see nothing to rush out for. DH needs jeans, but I'm not going to knock over people to get them!

Isn't $195 about the usual price for the 8g I touch?:confused3 Not worth fighting people for.

I read the article and all I cared to notice was the link at the bottom for an article regarding Target opening at midnight.

After my experience last year, all I know is that once the pallets are out--folks at my Walmart won't care what time it is.

You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go to Walmart on Black Friday. Especially since that last fiasco where someone died getting trampled on :scared1:

I like the 40 inch for $248 but I'm hoping to get it online as I have no interest in going there. Anyway to determine if we can get it online? I had GREAT success last year online. Got my dh's ipad and some stuff from walmart from the comfort of my All Star Movies bed! :rotfl2::thumbsup2

Do they sell the same stuff online? Does it start at midnight as well?
I would prefer to shop online this year as well! But who knows, I may be out there!

I hate the fact that they're beginning these sales on Thanksgiving night! So most people are going to spend their Thanksgiving waiting at a store. Do holidays mean nothing anymore?

I actually excited because there were several items on my shopping list... The Battlefield 3 game, pajama pants, waffle maker. My mom is looking for a new laptop so I am also going to be scouting that one out!

Looks like I will be spending Thanksgiving eve at Wally world!

A few of the things in the ad are already online in the Amazing Online Specials they have been there since the beginning of the month some of it changes daily or weekly. They have several TV's as well some that are in the sale ad and others that aren't.

you can actually get the ipod on their website right now w/ a bundle for 189 for the 8g

I wasn't going to go out, but DH has been asking for a PS3 for awhile and they are going to have a bundle for $199, but he has to work and may not be home by then, don't know how I am going to go get it.

More than any thing else, I found it more than a little sad that our holidays have been reduced to one big long continuous sale day.

I like that they're spreading out the deals. Maybe they're trying this to avoid the ridiculous crowds showing up all at once?

It's odd but I'm most interested in the tires. We need those!

I think it's sad, Walmart used to be closed on a few holidays, now it's about the almighty dollar, but there is pressure from the public.

Holiday's used to mean alot to me, but since I lost my mom and it's just DH and I, it's not the same. And since he has to work Thanksgiving night (& Christmas night), being alone doesn't make me feel very festive.

You know, that is a good point. Although I have always enjoyed seeing what K-Mart had for sale on Thanksgiving Day, since they have been doing this for years, I had never really thought about the fact that people who should be able to stay home with their families on the holiday are instead working. Now that several retailers are doing Thanksgiving Day sales there are that many more people who will have to work and give up the holiday time with their families and friends. I know there may be people who don't mind working for one reason or another but you can bet that there are many more who have no real choice in the matter and are being MADE to work the holiday. I feel for those who have to work the holiday and don't want to. I didn't see anything to rush out for on the Wal-Mart ad. But when you consider that they tend to have only a few of the top wanted items at each location and you have to claw and fight you way to be one of the few who actually get the deal I would rather avoid the whole mess. Now, shopping online from a Disney resort sounds like fun and something I could talk myself into.....;)

I can relate Princess Suzanne, This year it'll be just DS and I and once it reaches evening we'll be done with celebrating Thanksgiving, We plan to eat a big lunch and see a movie.

Now if this was during Thanksgiving day I wouldn't have anything to do with it.
