Walmart BF dual screen dvd player

I see that this is available online now but I have a queston. Are you only able to play these dvds in the car? I don't know alot about this stuff but only says it comes with a car power adaptor and no rechargeable battery. Help!!

I looked at both brands on Walmart.com. The Durabrand appears to come with an a/c adapter so you can plug it into a wall socket.

Polaroid doesn't advertise an a/c adapter.

Both have a statement that reads: "Note: This mobile DVD player is powered by a car socket; it does not have a battery"

So - it looks like they are only usable in your car - except for the Durabrand player that comes with an a/c adapter. No batteries with either player. Not a good deal, IMO - since you can buy individual players for less than $100. Doesn't Walmart have one advertised for about $70 on their Black Friday ad?

Yes there are cheaper individual players but this was the only one I could find with 2 7" screens at this price. My girls would fight over just the one so I wanted two. I'm assuming if it has an ac adaptor it can be plugged up at home? Thanks

You may want to ensure the set with the a/c adapter comes with 2 a/c adapters.

What would you need 2 for ? If this is the same Durabrand one I have the ac adapter plugs into the unit not the individual screens.

Since the poster is considering buying them for 2 kids - I thought they may want the ability to plug them into different rooms without running extension cords???
