We were at MK on Tuesday March 30. While DH and DD rode the teacups around noon I got fastpasses for Splash Mountain. At the time I got the passes Splash was working great. Our Fast Pass time was 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.

All afternoon we walked past Splash and it was not working and they weren't sure when it would be. Kept checking up until about 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. when we finally left the park. It was a real bummer since we had been talking all year about going on this ride for the first time with our DD. Kind of reminded me of the Chevy Chase movie and Wally World. Really disappointing.

Anyone else there that day or know what happened? Thanks for listening. Other than Splash the rest of the day was perfect!

That's nothing. One year, many moons ago, we had a very traumatic experience. I guess I was somewhere between 7-10 years old, with two younger brothers. We headed out bright and early one morning. Not sure how far we got, but my mom's car started having trouble. We turned back around and headed back to Jax to get my dad's car. By the time we ended up making it to the MK, it was, I think, around 4pm. The only problem was that the MK was closing at 6pm that day. We just turned back and headed home. My brothers and I were bawling our eyes out. What a bummer of a day.....LOL. Any you were upset that you didn't get to ride Splash ........hehe.

I think this was late 70's.
