My only child (daughter) left this morning to go to WDW without me. She is travelling with her best friend and her mother. I am so SAD that I was not able to go with them. This trip is for her 13th birthday which is in two weeks. I think I am more sad that I am missing all the Disney Magic more then missing her. I have looked thru all our trip scrapbooks today and even put the disney collar on our dog. Well I know that you all would understand. She will be calling everynight and reliving the magic when she gets home.

Boy do I know how you feel. 6 years ago my only son left with my mom for his first disney trip. I had to stay here. Had just started a new job and could not go.

I was sad that I did not get to take him when he was little.

Hang in there! and hugs to you.

My son will be 13 on Tuesday!

Sorry to hear you have to stay home! I feel you pain! When I was in High School, my Mom and my brother got to go for a week in December. Mom had just graduated from college, and DB was on his winter break from college. My dad and I couldn't go, due to school and work schedules. I was SO mad! It was over 20 years ago, but I still can't believe they went without us!

But I can sat I have been back to WDW many more times than either of them in the years since! Nyah, nyah on them!:teeth: :teeth:
