Wallmart or Super Target

We are staying at the Amerisuites in Calypso Cay, and were wondering which was the closest, Super target or Super Wallmart. We will need to pick up a few groceries and a cooler. Also, does anyone know when the new Walmart on the 535 will be open? Thanks

SuperTarget will be closer - it is the first traffic signal after you get onto 192 off of 535. There is actually an entrance before that but if it is dark when you are going, it may be easier to turn at the light.

Of course, if you just need groceries and a cooler, Publix is just across the street from the Amerisuites as Calypso Cay.

The new Super Wal Mart building is almost done on the outside. Not sure how much has to be done on the inside.

Is the Target a new store? I always went to the one several miles down 192 from 535.

Yes it pretty new. The old one is still open also.

The Target is a new SuperTarget that was built within the year. Imagine my surprise a few months ago when I went by it....when I moved out of Kissimmee last June, the had just cleared the ground...then about 6 months later..poof, a SuperTarget. I was amazed how quickly it got built. They must have paid some hefty bonuses to the construction company to get it built so quick.

Oh and it is a nice store. I was just in it last week when up for a few days and needed some stuff.
