Walkway between Polynesian and GF

Does anyone know how long the walk is between the GF and Polynesian? We're staying at the GF and have reservations for the Spirit of Aloha show and was wondering if it was walk-able or if we should take the monorail all the way around and then have to walk to Luau Cove. Just wondering how long it will take.

Walking from the Grand Floridian to the Polynesian takes about 10 minutes and it's very easy. I would also say it's faster then taking the Monorail because you would still need to go to the Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and TTC, before arriving at the Polynesian.

I agree it's definitely an easy walk and the first thing you hit after the wedding pavillion is Luau Cove! I'm not sure if you have to check in at the great ceremonial house (lobby) for the luau. I remember seeing lots of people in the hallways and lobby getting pics taken but that may have been due to rain or something else. We haven't done the Luau in a while.

Since the check in is at the Luau Cove, walking is your best bet. Because the Cove is on the side of the Polynesian closest to the Wedding Pavilion. If you took the monorail, you'd have to walk all the way through the main building and then come out and walk towards the Grand Floridian.

Just a note - your two little princesses just might want to get their pictures taken around the Wedding Pavilion. Save some time for that.

The path is quite beautiful. We stayed at GF a couple of years ago when we were down to attend a friend's wedding at the Pavilion, and several people left the pavilion after the wedding to just walk over to the Poly. They got lost in the Poly (I'm not sure how) and then had to take the monorail to Epcot rather than the bus that took us all to the reception. Like I said, it is a beautiful walk, especially at night. Have fun.
