Walkins at Epcot and mk next weekend?

hello,

Daughter and myself last minute trip. Can't get the times I want for restaurant at Epcot (via Napoli) next Friday night or at mk (jungle co) Saturday. I was looking for 6:30-7:30pm

Is it worth it to try and just walk in? Crowd calendar is a 5 both days.

it can't hurt, but I would also check night before and day of, as often people change their plans last minute

you are also looking for prime time dining. Sometimes arriving right when a location begins dinner service is helpful too

We were able to get a via Napoli reservation a few weeks before our last trip so I'd keep checking. I think walkups can be really tough there especially on a Friday night.

Remember, if you can't get an ADR the chances are that's because they are "full" for those time slots. Full equals unlikely chance for a walk up.
But, as PP said, keep checking. We have always gotten in Via Napoli by looking the day before, or day of. There is always something. Open up your available times if possible though. Prime eating time is hardest.
And you can always ask for a walk up but have a back up plan in case you are told no.

We walked in to Via Napoli on a Saturday night this past May. We were hungry and felt like pizza (but not the garbage resort pizza). So we figured what the heck? I had been checking the app all day for cancellations or openings and nothing, so we walked up at 8pm and asked for if they had availability and they did. 4 minute wait....which was light years faster than the wait we had for any ADR we had that trip. We sat, we ate, we paid and walked out about 10 minutes before Illuminations. Walked right up to the water with only a few folks in front of us and had a great view of the show.

Definitely keep checking for the times you want! I made a last-minute ADR last week for LTT at a time that overlapped one of my FP's. I diligently checked for other times daily and got exactly what I wanted after just a few tries. People cancel close to their dining times regularly!

Are you talking about Skipper's Canteen in MK? If so, don't they only do day of ADRs? If that is what you are talking about you have a real good chance of a walk in there.

We got some Christmas walk ins this way. As prgal0715 says people often cancel last moment. Disney don't want empty seats! I wonder if it depends on size of party also? We were 2. We also had a back up plan. So a quick service idea like Cosmic rays or Pesco Bills was going to be our plan if we could not get in at BOG for example. In EPCOT There is a nice quick service at America for example or Mexico etc. Or take out fish and chips from the UK!

Your odds are better than most as you are only going to be a party of two. My wife and I typically have a very good average (over 80%) of getting walk ups at nearly every TS restaurant not during peak park times. and/or peak dinning times.

Just as an example of the last few weeks, we have been able to walk up to all of these restaurants with no ADR's and were seated within 20 minutes:
