Walking up to Cape May Breakfast/December?

Its only going to be dh and I. Not really intersted n the characters, just the food.

I keep trying on line. We are staying at the Yacht Club. I know Captains Grill is an option but we have been there before. Just wondering if anyone has done this, I am specifically looking at Dec. 8th or 9th. I would prefer before 9 am etc.

Anyone have any experience with ths time frame in December? TIA.

Well, I was there for a 9:25 am ADR during free dining 2009, and they were definitely taking walk-ups then for people staying at Yacht and Beach (not sure about if you were staying elsewhere). A bit later than most people want to eat (after, say, 8:30 for a non-park restaurant), the restaurants are very rarely crowded.
