Walking to......

Hi Everyone: Where can you walk to if you stay at OKW? DTD? other resorts? If you stay at SSR where can you walk to? Thanks

You can walk to DTD from both SSR and OKW. OKW also has sidewalks and walking the resort is very nice early in the morning. SSR has a small town feel to it, and is just across the water from DTD. OKW has an unlighted paved path to DTD. We have taken it often, but I wouldn't reccommend it at night.

OKW and SSR also have bus AND boat service to DTD. The boats run on the hour until about 4pm when it increases to 2x per hour.

The path that dianeschlicht mentioned could be used to walk between OKW and SSR, but I don't think there are any other resorts within walking distance. POFQ would be the next closest, but it is across a main road from OKW. I believe Disney discourages walking on any of the main roads.

My DH and I went to check out SSR in Sept., and walked from SSR to DTD. The walk was nice and not too bad. Unfortunately it started to rain quite hard, and we had to run into one of the buildings. We had to hang out in the hallways until the rain let up. We felt funny hanging out there but at least we were dry. It was not a bad walk at all, but before you go check the weather
