Now that I just booked CL at the Poly:cool1:, I need to figure out how to walk to the TTC. We have stayed at the Poly many times, always requesting and getting Ratonga (love that location). We never seemed to figure out how to walk to the TTC. Anyone know where the walk path is from Garden View CL location??

On this Poly map, the walkway is on the right-hand coming out from the top end of Rapa Nui, just below Tahiti. There is an arrow pointing to it with the description "Walkway to Transportation and Ticket . . . ." It comes out just below the words "Monorail Station" on the right.

I hope this helps!

From Hawaii, we walked past the end of Tokelau then around the front of Tahiti. There are signs as well and as you get off the Poly property and towards the TTC, there are those "Buy a Brick" type things on the walkway as well with people's names on them.

:confused3Oh my. Thank you both. I think we really got turned around because I thought it was on the other side?? Totally confused. So, if I am walking into the front of the Poly to check in, the walkway is toward the right?? We were walking to the left! Looking for it. Wow. We have stayed there over 4 times and never used that walkway. Usually it was to Ratanga, GCH, the pool and the monorail and that was about it.

As we are in Hawaii, is it a long walk. We are used to Ratonga and everything was so close we were a little spoiled. Is Hawaii going to seem far from everything to us?

Hawaii is really close to the GCH, and both pools. And the boat dock. It's very centrally located, IMO.

edited: just for reference - it's not more than a 3-4 minute walk from Hawaii to the GCH. Maybe that helps put the map in perspective? And yes, when you are facing the Poly head on (the FRONT of the resort), the path to the TTC is on your right. From there you could walk right past Raratonga and follow the path around and it would take you to the TTC. From Hawaii to the TTC is 10 minutes, even at a slow pace.

We just returned from a week at the Poly; stayed in Rarotonga and loved the location. To get to the TTC, go out the back exit of Rarotonga, not the doors by the GCH. Walk toward the parking lot but away from the GCH. Continue past the laundry facilities and keep walking. You have to follow the path thru the trees so it is hard to see but just keep walking and following the monorail. It's not a long walk unless it's hot and you're tired and sweaty. It's actually easier, IMHO, to walk to/from the TTC than to get off the MK monorail and walk down the stairs then back up the stairs to the Epcot monorail.

When my family and I stayed Club Level at the Polynesian in December 2007 and would walk from the Hawaii Longhouse to the TTC, I thought it took around 10 minutes.

We stayed in the Tahiti building and it was a very quick 5 minute walk- loved it!

We stayed in Tokelau which is right next to the Hawaii building and it was a really east walk to the TTC from there. Pay attention to the signs though, when you get to the end of Poly property the path forks and the path to the TTC goes up a slope on the right hand side. :goodvibes

We stayed in Hawaii this year and always walked to the TTC for the Monorail. The first day we got there we were headed to the GCH to catch the Monorail to MK. We got turned around and ended up at the TTC. Once we realized the walk was so easy, we just went there every time. We liked the express Monorail to MK and for Epcot we didn't have to do the "loop" and transfer.

Thank you all for your responses. I have a clearer picture now of where it's at. Can't wait! We leave in 9 days:banana:
